THE FACTS

Peopletech has been a 501(c)(3)nonpartisan, nonprofit since Dec. 1999.

We first started out with a mission to shrink the "Digital Divide" in our community; which was becoming a great divide depending on income and which might be happening again...

Children of upper middle-class distinction were able to afford these new technological tools for their school work and home work; while children of middle-class and below, had to suffer the consequences of an unlevel playing field and their scores showed it.

Peopletech started the process that before any computers were to be put into the ground, Peopletech and its many voluteers took it upon themselves to "rescue" these computers and give it to students that were doing well in school but lacked the finances to buy one.

We gave to other 501(c)(3)s, children's homes, womens' groups and to individual children who were making a "B" overall and but were below the poverty level.

Now, Peopletech has expanded and adapted to the overall economic condition. We have become more of a research, analysis, and educational community service provider.  We have various projects that will assist communities to become sustainable and profitable, as we come out of one of the worse economic "recession" known.
